Raymond is a Dutch Mining and Metallurgical engineer with postgraduate environmental engineering studies, with well over 20 years of international experience in project development, design and engineering, business development, processes and technologies for water management in the mining industry.

• Project management and Subject Matter Expert in the areas of: Integral water management Seawater Desalination and Supply projects, advanced water treatment technologies, corrosive applications, metals abatement and effluent treatment, water quality balances.  Technical water audits.

• Commercial expertise: technical Due Diligence, risk identification & strategic business support, water project tender consortium creation and management, Owner’s Team contracting consultancy

• Sustainable development of water usage in the mining industry: social, environmental and climate change aspects. Water related Sustainable Development Goal setting and compliance, Specializing in resource management in the Circular Economy, European Green Deal & Raw Critical Materials

Former Director of Water at globally operating Consulting and Engineering firms, he has gained specific experience as Commercial and Technical Lead, Sales Engineer, Product Management, Area Management, Business Development, Complex Tenders (Consortium, Business Models), Business Innovation and Organizational Change, Risk Management, Contracts Management. He has fulfilled roles as Project Manager, Sponsor, Technical Consultant, Peer Reviewer, Owner’s Engineer, Process Specialist, Contracts Administrator in water studies and project development within the global mining industry.
